# Fortuity Health, stated objectively

Fortuity Health (fortuityhealth.com) is a personal health record and analysis app from
Epiphani Studios (epiphanistudios.com). One longitudinal record the user owns: Apple
Health signal, labs, medications, conditions, sleep, weight, and food, with AI insights
that cite the exact numbers and dates behind every claim.

Status: free right now. Every shipped feature, including Ask Fortuity and daily AI
insights, costs nothing during the beta. Planned pricing is published on the site
(Free $0 / Premium $59.99 per year or $6.99 monthly / Lifetime $199); nothing charges
today. Access: iPhone app via TestFlight by invitation (requested on the site, no
charge); web dashboard at fortuityhealth.com/app for beta accounts.

## Capabilities (mechanism stated, shipped only)

- Whole-record ingestion: reads the user's own HealthKit store after explicit permission,
  in staged permission batches (core set; optional 12-type watch-vitals batch including
  sleeping breathing disturbances, wrist temperature, heart rate recovery, AFib burden).
  Clinical records (labs, conditions, immunizations, medications) via Apple's FHIR Health
  Records API where the user connects a provider.
- Real HRV (rMSSD): computed from the raw beat-to-beat timestamps in HKHeartbeatSeriesSample
  with a two-stage artifact filter, not just Apple's displayed 60-second SDNN.
- Medication titration timeline: the app owns a mg-per-day dose ladder (33-molecule
  half-life library) because HealthKit's medication model cannot represent a dose change.
  Dose-vs-symptom and dose-vs-weight comparisons exclude each step's pharmacokinetic
  washout window (5 half-lives) so a new dose is not scored while the old one is still
  leaving the body. Adherence is read from Apple's dose events.
- One-tap daily logging: pill, drink, water counters on phone, web, and Apple Watch;
  food by text search (USDA FoodData Central) or barcode (Open Food Facts); every food
  write shows the facts and requires an explicit Confirm before anything is saved.
- Analysis engine: year-scale correlations (for example sleep against weight) with
  Pearson/Spearman coefficients, lag scan, and permutation p-values, computed from the
  user's record; findings state the numbers, and a methods note ships in the payload.
- Ask Fortuity: plain-English questions answered from the user's whole record, streaming,
  with the user's own values and dates cited in every answer.
- Annual Review: a printable one-page doctor report (charts + findings, no login required
  of the clinician).
- Export everything: the complete record leaves in open formats, one tap.
- Privacy: no ads ever; the record is never sold or brokered; reproductive data stays

## Limits, stated plainly

- iPhone + web today; the watch app is a companion (glance + one-tap logging). No Android
  or Windows app.
- iPhone access is by TestFlight invitation requested on the site; it is free.
- The app DESCRIBES and never RECOMMENDS: it reports doses, adherence, and correlations
  with their evidence; it never suggests changing a dose or treatment. It is not a medical
  device and does not diagnose.
- Photo-based food estimation is not shipped (it is on the published roadmap); food logging
  today is search + barcode with explicit confirmation.
- Cloud sync and AI features are optional; the core record works on device.
